Andrew Brand – Nursery Manager
Andy, like Dick, has been involved with growing plants since childhood. He received his BS and MS from the University of Connecticut in Horticulture and Plant Tissue Culture.
Andy has been an employee of Broken Arrow Nursery for over two decades and now manages the nursery. He was the past president of the American Rhododendron Society, past president of the Connecticut Butterfly Association, past President of Connecticut Nursery and Landscape Association (CNLA), and received the Young Nursery Professional Award from the New England Nursery Association. He is an amateur naturalist with a strong interest in native plants and attracting wildlife to yards.
