What We Do

Since its inception, Broken Arrow Nursery has strived to be one of the premier specialty nurseries of woody plants and perennials in the country. Since our early days when Kalmia was king, we have grown by leaps and bounds and now our plant contacts worldwide allow us to acquire and propagate the latest and greatest for our gardening friends. As a result of our determined collecting efforts, the number of new plant offerings continues to expand. With the recent loss of several mail-order nurseries, the need for Broken Arrow to provide rare and unusual plant sources has increased.

While Broken Arrow has always been dedicated to growing the uncommon and underutilized, we continue to offer older, time-tested plants along with an extensive collection of native plants. Every effort is made to cater to all types of gardeners, from the fanatic collector to those who just want to have a nice yard.

We have established a reputation of providing excellent customer service which is the result of having friendly, knowledgeable staff. Customer service has always been a top priority of ours and whenever possible we try our best to provide invaluable, one-on-one customer service. Our customers have come to expect helpful advice on a range of gardening topics from challenging landscapes to insect and disease problems. By providing accurate, thorough descriptions and personal insight, we hope the decision-making is easier for the customer. But nothing tops seeing plants in the garden setting to help the buyer decide. Our display beds continue to expand and mature, with many of the catalog items planted throughout the nursery grounds. Those unable to visit the nursery in person can view our retail plant catalog and mail order listings.
