Abies koreana 'Starker's Dwarf' - Starker's Dwarf Korean Fir

Imagine that, another dwarf cultivar of Korean Fir! This fine form develops an irregular, horizontally branched form somewhat reminiscent of the bird’s nest spruce (Picea abies ‘Nidiformis’). Like many in the group the needles are deep green with a prominent glaucous reverse. Magical violet-blue cones are produced from a young age providing added decoration. Growth rate is similar to ‘Prostrate Beauty’ with plants reaching 5’ high and wide when mature.
