Quick Overview

Previously considered part of the arum family, sweet flag now has a family of its own, Acoraceae. The 10-12” narrow, sedge-like foliage looks yellow from a distance but on closer inspection there is noticeable irregular green striping along the length of the leaves. Residing in bogs and marshes they will be content near the edge of ponds or streams in part shade to sun.
