An exciting new cultivar discovered at Mt. Cuba Center in Greenville, Delaware featuring shadowy blue-green foliage. Like the native woodland baneberry, panicles of white flowers appear in spring eventually developing the characteristic “doll’s eyes” on distinct red pedicels which persist for weeks into the fall. Requires moist, humus rich soils in part sun to light shade.
