Amorphophallus

A bizarre plant with dramatic, dark green, mottled stems that can reach 5' tall each one topped by a huge divided leaf. In May, mature tubers produce an unusual foul smelling flower consisting of a deep purple spathe and a striking purple-maroon spadix.
