Slow to emerge in spring this variegated form of the native pokeweed is stunning when it finally shows its white-splashed foliage. The white flowers are present from July to autumn on long, narrow, pinkish-red stemmed racemes. The copious crops of purple-black berries appear from August to September. Plants will come somewhat true from seed with variable variegation patterns from plant to plant. This 3-4' tall plant is drought tolerant and does well in sun to part shade. Learn More
