A classy and elegant rose that is charming in both flower and fruit. In late spring plants showcase masses of single, vivid red flowers highlighted with a central ring of black and cream stamens and a prominent green eye. The arching shrubs rise to 8' in height with stems that are nearly unarmed. Branches support pleasing, fine textured, blue-green leaves which make the perfect foil for autumn' s, abundant, elongated thumb-sized, brick red hips. R. moyesii 'Geranium' is quite easy to grow showing few problems from the usual pest and disease issues associated with the group. Like most roses best growth and ornamental display will occur in full sun exposures with rich, evenly moist, well-drained soil.
