Rhododendron x ‘Coastal Flame’ is a Broken Arrow Nursery selection that combines the coast azalea (R. atlanticum) and flame azalea (R. calendulaceum) into its pedigree. Our original plant is nearly 40 years old and measures 6’ high and 8’ wide. Plants strut impressive, high gloss leaves and an abundance of rich pink blossoms set off with an apricot flair. Always asked about when in bloom in late May each year.
