Agastache Anise Hyssop

A group of plants native to the western and southwestern US. These plants perform best in full sun and in soils that have good drainage. All parts of the 3-4' plants have a fragrance of anise and are not favored by deer. The abundant small flowers are a great draw for butterflies. Several species are cold hardy to zone 6 and have been used in hybridizing resulting in some excellent selections.
