The yellow fruited corneliancherry dogwood is among the older selections available with ties to cultivation dating back to the 17th century. The open, somewhat loosely branched plants are strong growing and bear a welcome show of glowing yellow blossoms in early spring. As one might imagine, plants sport an attractive and prolific display of glossy yellow fruit in August and September that are said to have a distinctive pineapple flavor. Overall an excellent option for those looking to build the diversity of ornamental edibles in the collection.
