Sun roses are actually evergreen sub-shrubs growing 6-12” tall with flat, needle-like, gray-green foliage. In May through June, ‘Henfield Brilliant’ produces 1-2” silky, orangy-red flowers, with bright-yellow centers. After flowering it is beneficial to cut plants back to encourage fresh new growth. Use in sunny rock gardens where there is good drainage. Plants are drought tolerant.
