Details

A fast growing perennial vine capable of twining 15-25’ in height over a season of growth. Plants showcase 6” maple-like leaves that are bright chartreuse-gold in spring and early summer. Greenish, bracted hops resembling small pine cones mature in late summer attracting potential home brewers in droves. Plants are easy to cultivate in average, well-drained soil in full sun to part shade. Best growth occurs with high fertility. In winter, plants will die back to the ground. Overall, a highly ornamental vine that is excellent for quick cover during summer months.

Shipping Terms

For spring, our plants will be shipped from Monday, March 3rd (weather dependent) until the week of April 28th. Orders must be received by midnight April 24th.
Changing Your Order - If you have an order that has been placed, the only way to modify it is by emailing us.
Shipping Charges - Due to increasing costs associated with shipping plants and the time required to package orders we have established a 30% flat shipping fee for all plant orders in the Northeast, 35% flat shipping fee for remaining states east of the Mississippi River and a 40% flat shipping fee for all states west of the Mississippi River. There is a $30, $35, or $40 minimum shipping fee, depending on your region, for plant orders under $100. A small number of oversized plants have an additional $10 surcharge.
Shipping Restrictions - Mail-order is restricted to the plants that are included in the mail-order section of our website. Unfortunately we are unable to ship plants to AK, AZ, CA, CO, FL, HI, ID, MT, NV, OR, UT, or WA.
Shipment Period - We ship plants in the fall from September - November and in the spring from March - May. All shipments are weather and plant growth dependent.
Guarantee - We guarantee that all plants sold by Broken Arrow Nursery are healthy and true to name when they leave the nursery.
Please contact us within 5 days of the receipt of your order if such is not the case. If we are at fault we will replace the plant in question or issue a nursery credit for the purchase price of the plant. We are unable to guarantee plants that are improperly cared for after delivery.
