Hydrangea anomala ssp. petiolaris 'Sutter's Mill' Sutter's Mill Climbing Hydrangea

Another fine variation of this exquisite clinging vine. We can't get enough of this species and as a result seek out every fun, distinct form we come across. 'Sutter's Mill' is certainly distinct and fun and has captivated our attention with its solid, soft yellow foliage. The leaves are scorch resistant and make a classy complement to the satin-white lacecap flowers that decorate the stems in summer. Like the species, plants are slow to develop but gain vigor and garden presence with each passing season.
