Naturalizing easily in our North American gardens, white clover hails from Europe, North Africa and Asia. Known for its three parted leaflets, the occasional four-leaf clover is a desirable lucky charm. This 2007 Glover Perennials introduction features dark purple foliage with silvery edges. Fluffy, white, globular flowers top the 3-4" tall plant in mid-late summer and are a favorite of bees. This mat-forming perennial spreads by creeping stems making a useful groundcover or accent edging around other plants. Plant in full sun to part shade, in moist soils with good drainage.
