We acquired this evergreen ginger from our friend Clarence Towe and we immediately fell in love with this precious southeastern US native. The glossy green, heart-shaped foliage has a distinctive mint-green overlay. By late spring, reddish-brown cup-shaped flowers appear under the 6" tall foliage. Prefers a shady, moist, woodland setting.
