This giant coneflower will attain heights of 6-7'! Powdery-blue basal foliage can grow a whopping 18-24". In June-July stately stems hold 3" yellow-orange flowers with large, dark-brown, cone-like centers. The blooms attract a variety of butterflies including monarchs and swallowtails, as well as birds, such as goldfinches. Prefers full sun in a moist, well-drained site. Will tolerate some drought while growing in a wide range of soils.
