An extremely uncommon shrubby-vine species hailing from the shaded woodlands of Guizhou, Sichuan and Yunnan provinces in China. Brown twigs support clean, high gloss leaves of a rich green. Rounded inflorescences comprised of both 1" teardrop shaped sterile florets and less dramatic fertile flowers are present in late spring and summer months. Excellent for floral qualities and certain to stump the best of the plant nerds. * Sparse forests or thickets on mountain slopes and ridges, rocks in valleys; 1400-2100 m. Guizhou, Sichuan, Yunnan.
