#3

#3 - These plants are greater than 36 months old and are identified by the size of the container they are grown in. Our standard #3 round container holds a volume of mix between 304.64 and 410.88 fl oz. The containers typically measure 9.5” tall and 11” wide. Given the varied age of plants grown in this container size the branch development is often varied. Our #3 herbaceous perennials and deciduous shrubs are often younger than broadleaf evergreens or conifers grown in the same size container. These plants are well established in their containers and are often suitable for transplanting to a final landscape setting.
