This extraordinary perennial features basal, oval foliage that grows 12-14” long. The rough, hairy, gray-green leaves are highlighted by a broad, golden-yellow border. In late spring, thick stems, reaching 30-36” tall, display smaller versions of the outstanding basal foliage and emerge with 1” tubular flowers in shades of pink to white. This large plant should be prominently displayed in the sunlit garden. Drought tolerant.
