We aquired this meadow rue from Ellen Hornig, formally of Seneca Hill Nursery a few years back. The plant originated at North Hill Garden in Readsboro, Vermont. Plants are vigorous and produce 36-48" tall, striking, dark purple stems with blue-green, fern-like foliage. Pendulous lavender flowers complete this outstanding plant from late spring to summer. Prefers moist, well-drained soils in sun to part shade.
