This little jewel was originally found in the gardens of Mt. Cuba Center, DE. Mats of shimmering silver, heart-shaped leaves with dark green venation make an absolutely glowing 4-6” groundcover in the shade. Beginning in March, blue flowers typical of most violets contrast nicely with the leaves and are produced sporadically into the autumn. Part to full shade is best with organically rich soil that is well-drained.
